The association of the families of the victims of the crash of Flight ET 302, which occured on 10 March 2019 in Ethiopia (Association Vol ET 302 – Solidarité et Justice), killing 157 people including 10 French people, announces that it will participate and represent the families, on the occasion of the repatriation of their relatives to France and the homage ceremony dedicated to them on 19 October 2019 in the Salons d’honneur at Orly airport.
Mr LEMOYNE, Secretary of State to the French Minister for Europe and Foreign Affairs, as well as representatives of the Interministerial Delegation for Aid to Victims will be present to show their support to the families.
This restitution, after a seven-month wait, is the final stage in the ordeal they have been going through since 10 March and in the process of mourning which began when they first went to the site of the crash last April.
The president of the association, Virginie Fricaudet, who will soon be travelling to Ethiopia again to accompany the victims’ return to France, will give a short speech on 19 October. This will be the association’s first public communication, followed by a press conference in November.
